Review by hotel critic
If I could offer a piece of advice about Hotel Du Louvre, In The Unbound Collection By Hyatt, I would say this: do not let its unassuming façade fool you. This gem, nestled in the heart of the 1st arrondissement of Paris, is a true haven for those who appreciate a blend of history, elegance, and modern comfort. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome from the staff, especially Mr Mohamed and Mme. Florence, made us feel like cherished guests rather than mere visitors. Their attention to detail and dedication to exceptional service truly set the tone for our stay.Stepping into the newly renovated La Verticale, one is immediately struck by the perfect fusion of alpine charm and contemporary luxury. Our spacious and luminous room, decorated in typical Parisian style, offered a stunning view of the iconic Louvre Museum, the Opéra Garnier, and the Comédie Française theatre. The cozy ambiance, paired with modern amenities like satellite TV, a minibar, and free WiFi access, made it difficult to leave the comfort of our room. The culinary experience at the hotel is not to be missed. La Brasserie du Louvre by Bocuse serves up French cuisine in the very first Bocuse Brasserie in Paris, a treat for the senses that delights both locals and travelers alike. And for those who appreciate a good cocktail, the bar's seasonal cuisine influenced by botany is a must-try.our stay at Hotel Du Louvre was nothing short of magical. This historic address, steeped in charm and offering impeccable service, invites you to experience Paris like a true Parisian. Whether you're strolling through the Hausmann-era boulevards or enjoying a leisurely picnic in a nearby garden with a picnic basket provided by the hotel, every moment here is a reminder of the beauty and romance of the City of Lights. My companions and I left with hearts full of memories and a desire to return to this enchanting retreat in the heart of Paris.
